Briar and Bloom, the Soul/Americana duo consisting of Justin and Amy Cross, are headed to the studio to make their debut album!
Normally, we would just record in our home studio. Justin has been releasing music under his own name like this for years. However, after living with these songs for a while and seeing the response they get from audiences, we started to realize that they need a special touch and deserve a deeper investment. So, we are headed to Muscle Shoals and will be recording the album with some of the best engineers, producers, and musicians around.
It is because of all of your encouragement and kind words that we are even considering doing this. So many of you have told us at one of our shows of just in conversation that you need to hear more of these songs or want them recorded so you can listen to them whenever. That means the world to us, but it also means that we need your help. We would be honored if you would join in on the ground floor and be an integral part of the creation of the album. Your support will go toward studio costs and being able to hire the best musicians and engineers possible, as well as promoting the album. We will possibly even be pressing vinyl copies of the album along with creating merchandise like t-shirts. Making an album the right way in 2026 is a huge undertaking. We are estimating that once it is all said and done this whole project will cost somewhere between $15,000 to $20,000. With your help, we will be able to focus less on how we will be able to do this and more on what is most important: making a great album.
So, whether it's $1 or $5,000, any contribution you can make toward this project will be more appreciated than you can imagine.

We will record a performance of us singing your favorite song. This can be a video or one-take-one mic recording. this tier also comes with a digital download of the album once it's finished.
The Porcupine Tomato (Access to Studio Discord)
Get access to a private Discord server where we will post videos, pictures, thoughts, and kroe from the studio while we record our album in Muscle Shoals. We will also be able to chat and answer questions during the process and may even do a live stream or two from the studio. Plus all previous tiers.
The Climbing Rose (Backer Credit In Liner Notes)
This one is for the people who want their names written in history. Along with all previous perks, you will get your name credited in the final album notes as a backer of the project.
The Beach Rose (VIP Album Release Show Experience)

Justin and Amy will write and record a song for you, about whatever you want it to be about. Want a love song about roses? Let's do it! Always wanted to be able to sing a lullaby to your goldfish? Yep, that will work too. Just nothing inappropriate... gotta keep it PG.
The Knockout Rose (You Get It All)
This tier is not for the faint of heart. This is the Big Kahuna. Along with our eternal gratitude, you get executive producer credit on the album, along with literally everything below this tier. We'll even throw in a vinyl copy of the album or a t-shirt if we ever make them. Consider yourself president of the Briar and Bloom fan club.
